Word to Kindle and Nook
By David DeWitt
I have just finished a new ebook about how to easily convert your Word files to Kindle and Nook! I had to discover how to do this for my first Indie Publishing ebook “Get Viral Paypal Buttons“. I was aided in my efforts by someone on Facebook, Elaine Baker, a website designer and Indie Publisher who pointed me in the direction of a software called Calibre that will help convert Word to the proper file format for both Kindle and Nook ebooks. But it’s not just a matter of using this free software. You need another free software for an important part of the process, too, and neither of these programs are revealed by Amazon.com! Not that they wish to keep anything from you – they just don’t know about them!
One of the problems with converting Word to Kindle and Nook is carrying over images and a Table of Contents with the recommended software Amazon uses to create the preferred file format (epub) that is uploaded for publication.
Using the method I describe in my new ebook “Word to Kindle and Nook” you will be able to easily and quickly turn out a file type that is compatible with both Amazon’s Kindle and Barnes and Noble’s Nook as well other eReaders!
You can create a Table of Contents within the text of the published ebook that will work as well as it did in the original Word document created on your desktop!
All of your images and text inserted into Word will be carried over into your finished ebook, exactly as they look in Word before going into Calibre, too! I am working on my new ebook’s book cover art and as soon as it’s finished, will be uploading “Word to Kindle and Nook” in minutes to both Amazon.com and Barnes and Noble’s websites!
There is nothing stopping you from doing the same with your Word generated ebooks and reports except for the fact that you haven’t yet read my new ebook!
Word to Kindle and Nook is now available on:
Word to Kindle and Nook, on Amazon.com
Word to Kindle and Nook, on B&N.com
